FAULT AWARE ROUTIG ALGORITHM TO ENHANCE NETWORK RESILIENCY & ACHIEVE LOAD BALANCING IN HYBRID WIRELESS OPTICAL BROADBAND ACCESS NETWORK

Motivation and Need:

Both DARA and RADAR require keeping a check on the link capacity and packet intensity, also the path computation puts some processing load on the routers. Also the frequency of updates is also a debatable issue i.e. too small number of LSA's would not reflect the true picture and too many LSA's would over load the network. It is a good direction to work on reducing the processing requirements on behalf of the wireless routers. Also some alternative to LSA's would make network's resources used for data transport other than controlling mechanism
